This playdate takes the place of a full day of shadowing at Mackintosh Academy for our youngest applicants. This event is a required part of the Kindergarten admissions process and is similar to a condensed version of a school day. This is a very important step in the admissions process, as we get to meet and spend time with your child(ren). Parents are welcome to stay for the first 30 minutes to meet with administrators while the children get settled with Mack faculty and then return for pick up. Students attend one play date.

We are excited to offer an innovative look at our school. Instead of talking at you, we want to talk with you! We will start with a handful of parents (current, alumni, brand new, etc), teachers and administrators quickly introducing themselves and then you decide who you want to speak with to learn about Mack! There will be opportunities for you to share your family journey with those you speak with, if you choose. Our hope is that after this event you will be inspired to learn more and return to have a personal tour during the school day (if you haven’t already toured!) to see the real magic of the students and teachers in action!
