This position takes the lead guiding the MPC forward into a sustainable, productive, and healthy future in concert with school administrators (admin.)

• Leads the MPC in concert with the school admin.
• Helps plan the yearly MPC calendar of events and meetings.
• Supports MPC Chairs in the coordination of volunteer efforts for all areas of school programming & community life.
• Helps oversee the communication of general parent council information and events to parents through the Boulder Bite, Facebook page, website, or emails sent through the admin.

This position takes the co-lead in guiding the MPC. He/she mirrors and shares responsibilities held by the Chair position and also oversees Room Representatives.

• Maintains volunteer sign-in list, tracks volunteer hours, and writes “Volunteer Spotlight” for the Boulder Bite.
• Organizes and cheerleads the Room Representatives (managing communication, organization, etc.).
• Works with admin. and Outreach Coordinator to support Service Learning.

This position leads MPC’s efforts in all areas of community growth, health, and school spirit.

• Identifies dates for annual community events together with the MPC and school admin.
• Recruits and manages volunteers to run each annual community event including: MackFeast (Sept.), 
Mackoween (Oct.), Grandparent & Special Friends Day (Nov.), Mackaraoke (Jan.), Mackriety Show (Mar.), MackFest (Jun.), etc.
• Works with MPC leaders and admin. to establish new community building traditions throughout the school year.

This position coordinates the MPC’s support and appreciation for our teachers, staff, and administration. This role is a great fit for a parent who can only be on campus 1-2 hours per month, and is comfortable coordinating through online apps such as: Sign-Up Genius, Google Drive, Google Forms, Survey Monkey and email.

• Seeks input from staff on how they feel most valued.
• Recruits and manages parent volunteers to host Staff Appreciation parties, recurring appreciation, etc.
• Creates a plan for teacher appreciation week; recruits and manages parent volunteers.

This position supports MPC finances by helping organize and manage fundraising efforts and budgeting.

• Creates, manages, and communicates the yearly MPC budget to MPC and school admin.
• Organizes and leads fundraising plans including reloadable grocery cards, Mack events snack shack, Spirit Wear sales, and local restaurant events.

This position works in concert with admin., admissions, and chairs to support new families throughout the school year. This role also helps plan and implement Parent Education events.

• Works with admissions and class reps. to ensure a healthy new family induction system including regular communicating and check-ins before events.
• Coordinates parent social gatherings and activities.
• Supports admin. with creation and delivery of yearly Parent Education (PE) events.
