For a Mackintosh Academy Boulder Teacher “there is no box.” While our IB program provides the structure that insures the breadth and vigor of our curriculum, it’s the relationships between students and teachers that create deeply engaged learning. Our teachers honor children for who they are, guiding and challenging them right at their personal learning edge so that they become the inquisitive, creative, and hard-working learners they are capable of becoming. When children feel safe, respected and challenged they are more likely to take risks, find joy in hard work, build resiliency, and work with others with the same sense of empathy, compassion, and determination.
