The Kindergarten class blasted off their Exploration unit by watching a thrilling space shuttle launch. They were then charged with designing a space shuttle and space station in the loft area of the classroom using cardboard, foamboard, duct tubing, and tinfoil. The shuttle even has a “working” engine that emits flames and smoke (paper and streamers)! “Houston, no problem!”
