During their “Who We Are” unit, kindergarteners have been learning about the customs and cultures of other countries. What kind of exploration are they doing? They began by transforming their loft into a magical airplane! They designed and created their own passports and make tickets with their flight numbers and boarding groups before each journey. They line up to have their tickets scanned and passports checked before boarding. Students in the class share the traditions, foods and culture of their families. Bolivia, Armenia, South Korea, Italy, Sweden, Mexico, India, and Kenya are among the countries they have visited so far. Adios, arrivederci, annyeong and adjö!
